We are not hittites, the hittites are adyge.
they migrated from the caucasus south to anatolia and then returned a few centuries latter. the returning hitites were named "adyge" becaseu they couldn't remeber if they were shapsug,kabardey...so they were one group. they lived in the area of modern day adygea republic. this is very ancient, they are not a different race but an assimilated one that returned.

i think you guy got hatti mixed up with hitti the ppl that assimilated the hatti. who are in fact not indo-european and spoke a different langauge.. we can tell by the drawings that the pharaos had, the hatti leaders and ppl look different in their depication of the hitties.

the HITTITES indeed were an indo-europeans, but you possibly talk about the HATTIANS those were different people, none indo-europeans.

It's not wrong. Hittite is indeed classified as a indo-european language. Adyghe are North Caucasians.

our language is an indo-european language. the indo-european languages devide into sub-groups, which r the Germanic languages, the Latinate languages, the caucasian language, etc. The sub-groups also devide into groups & our language is from a group called abkhaz-circassian.

They are called Hittites, because they are called so! :)
They are from Nalshek, Kabarda.
Hittites are the ancestors of the Adyghe!

Hittites are classified as an Indo-Germanic Language group! Adyghe are purely classified as a Caucasian Language, such as Georgian.
