Wonderful. Although my memory failed me on the number of children. I thought it was 500 children and 1500 grandchildren. Boy was I wrong. If Mel Brooks can still remember it, he would be amazing.

Thirty minutes of my life that I will never get back. I remember the hype surrounding this skit back in 1975. I cannot describe my bitterness when I tuned-in. I felt like I had been had in a con game. The jokes were so lame and I could never understand why the audience was laughing at the “punch lines.” Maybe this routine works in a night club when your audience is small and has had a lot drinks to loosen them up, but it doesn't work on television. Not funny in 1975. Not funny today.
