International Friendly Preview: South Korea - Iran
Team Meli look to back-up their recent win over China against one of Asia's form teams.

It was a wonderful World Cup for South Korea as they emerged impressively from the group stages and were only knocked out in extra time by an in-form Uruguay in the Round of 16.
They've got an energetic and exciting squad led by Manchester United man Park Ji-Sung on the pitch and coached by Cho Kwang-Rae, who has said recently that he'll be looking to emulate the sort of passing game that inspired Spain to World Cup victory in South Africa.
Certainly Korea boast technical quality and if they can utilize their usual speed and movement on and off the ball under their new boss, then lifting the Asian Cup in January is a distinct possibility.
In the meantime Cho will be experimenting with personnel and tactics in the lead-up to the tournament, with this next friendly against Iran the perfect stage in which do do it, given they too will be fancying themselves to reign in Qatar.
The Koreans have a notable blend of youth and experience, with speedy defender Kim Joo-Young and teenage Ajax striker Suk Hyun-Jun both set to make their international debuts.
Watch out also for 20 year-old midfielder Yoon Bit-Garam, who has been setting the K-League alight with Gyeongnam and scored on his international debut recently.
کره جنوبی تیم قدرتمندی است. در این گفته هیچ شکی نیست.اما فوتبال ایران هم دست کمی از این تیم ندارد. البته پر واضح است که سازمان و مدیریت فوتبال کشور کره جنوبی سالهاست از ما پیشی گرفته تا حدی که آنان به راحتی قادر به برگزاری مسابقات مهم جام جهانی فوتبال می شوند.
فوتبال ما اما از لحاظ مسائل فنی و قابلیت های تکنیکی از کره جنوبی پیش است و با همین فاکتورها هم بود که توانستیم در مسابقات جام ملت های 96، 6 گل به این تیم بزنیم و بعد از آن نیز بارها کره جنوبی را شکست دهیم.
همیشه گفته اند که زیبایی فوتبال به غیرقابل پیش بینی بودن آن است. کره ای که به جام جهانی صعود کرده هر چند در ظاهر با تمام قدرت رودروی تیم فوتبال ایران قرار می گیرد اما آنان طبیعتا انگیزه زیادی برای این بازی ندارند و همین مساله کار تیم ما را سهل تر می کند.
با آرزوی پیروزی برای ملی پوشان فوتبال کشورمان در مصاف با کره جنوبی در ادامه به آماری از بازیهای تیم ایران با کره جنوبی اشاره می کنیم.نکته جالب آنکه ایران و کره جنوبی هر کدام توانسته اند هشت بار یکدیگر را شکست دهند و البته در 6 بازی به تساوی رسیده اند.
