I rather think, that these have the opinion, it doesn´t fit at all showing scenes of football to this beautiful song (instead of solely nature motives from Loch Lomond)! Quite kidish respective crude - at least my opinion (particularly football is - with respect - really not the biggest strength of yours!)

@boogs2007 Not in this horrid miserable version. Sad songs are just sick. But there is another version, with a happy ghosty ending, "me and my true love will yet meet again far above the banks of Loch Lomond". The "low road" originally meant a ghost's path home after getting executed in Carlisle.

That is the good version. Though it has the objection that it's about the stupid Jacobites yet again, at least it's not on their side but shows them up quite angrily as a futile sick waste of lives.

I'm Danish. I was in Scotland last year. I love this country. The incredible scenery and its amazing wonderful people. Be sure. I'll be back. This video just shows all about how wonderful that Scottish people are.
