Zoinks Scoobs, pretty accurate. A couple of observations though: 1) The change room is too large and too clean; 2) The accent isn't quite right (hee hee); 3) The worker is too clean; 4) You can't convey the lovely aroma of bitumen to the audience; 5) You don't discuss the lovely access road, or travelling through the Mariana Triangle on the way up from Edmonton. I worked there for nearly 2 years.

This is a pretty spot on description. I worked there, and I was applying elsewhere within about the first 3 months. Thank God I got out. I have many similar horror stories in addition to the ones described. The 'newfie' they describe trained me for the first 2 weeks lol

Jacos? You mean Japan Canada Oil sands, located 45 km south of fort mcmurray, the SAGD Pilot plant?.....maybe.......
