MrCedarman, Israel is a legal country that was guaranteed by the UN. Also, no mention of the more than 900,000 Jews that were thrown out of their ancient communities in the Arab countries. Isn't that a war crime also?  By the way, Saudi Arabia has Islam only as do other arab countries. Why no mention of these war crimes? Antisemitism is your motivation.

this is not the only story of young people against enormous odds in Israeli history.

there was also kibbutz nirim in the south, 38 jewish israeli teenagers defeated 400 egyptian soldiers with tanks, artillery, etc. also in the north, the kibbutzniks defeated syrian tanks with homemade weapons.

Not fairy tales, in those days a 22 year old person had the maturity of a person in their fourties today. People had no luxuries and were subject to manuel labor from 12 or 13 years old in order to eat and live. Remember that MOST people married at age 16. So all of what he says is very likely. I'm sure that there were men of "older" age and experience guiding them but the labor was done by a few youngsters.

It's very embarrassing if you think about it: Muslims and Christians hate Jews, when both of them exist only due to the foundation of the Jewish religion. It's like hating yourself. We suffered countless times, not only in WW2, but during the Roman occupation, the Greek occupation and many more occasions! Even when we first settled in this land approximately 4000 years ago, the other tribes hated us, and they vanquished.

jews waited for their saviour to come and give israel back to them and nothing happened. the jews took things in their own hands and now they have their own land back, and were able to hold unto their land when surrounded by enemies. point being, God helps those who help themselves, praying alone is not enough. all the same they shouldn't be throwing muslims out their homes in the west bank, that's discrimination. also 22 & 17 year olds made that bunker? yeah right! fairytales!
