  • Mr. Wong anxious to sell his collection to new owners, but my unhappy experiences in recent years made me give up the mission, make money for charity by selling the items before he die, so I dare not to show much now, many other important items perhaps would be lost forever after Mr. Wong past away, becaouse I tired of keep convincing peoples and handling attacks, I rely on destiny and take it easy, destroy them all are much easy for me now, so good luck to you, hope your works fruitful.

  • Many years ago, I did consult a very famous Chinese professor who work for a world-wide auction company about a Xuande blue and white, he just replied me that such jar had only 1 piece existed, other than that, imitations, but for sure that the jar was excavated in the Ming official kiln site and bought by Mr. Wong decades ago.

I didn't mention the point, but the professor gave me no explanation how fake the jar was.

Actually, the expert is a fake! what can I say?just show to public the fact.

  • I forgot to remind those collectors have the same experience that, appraisers from some auction companies would claim all of other collection as reproduction, because they afraid of buyers notice better choices of best price from private collections, if the same item were on their hand, their report would be another version, but it takes time to change this situation as peoples no longer blindly to believe authority, would ask for evidences and make comparison.

  • These treasures are carrying historic evidence of the ancient Chinese porcelains,

they proof by themselve the authenticity, they also can proof an appraiser whether a real expert or not.

I'm sure you have a fruitful study because it goes to someone who believe fact.

    Thanks!

  • @islander69Q . He just replied you that the blue-white Xuande jar you showed to him had only 1 piece existed, and the other ones are imitations? How did such professor claim that it was imitation? As we know that Xuande ceramics had produced on mass production and exported to Asia countries, NOT PRESERVED IN CHINA or Europe, BUT EXPORTED. I just arranged the excavation of shipwreck in Tuban sea-Indonesia. I'll show the world that many chinese ceramics sold on auction are fake and imitations.

  • @islander69Q , Auction Appraiser? Haha....Appraisers from auction house are not experts of ancient Chinese works of art. They are more traders rather than real experts of Chinese works of art!!

I agree with you that auction house claiming that. Auction houses are business companies. I have ever found variety shape & design of chinese ceramics from shipwreck. They were from Yuan-Sung dynasties. What did appraisers say? Its Repro! I think these appraiser know about money more than real antiques.

  • I'm sure that these treasures are out of the west eyes since such items had never been exported to Europe. But, In Asean countries, some old & prudent collectors have preserved them as heirloom from their ancestors last...last....centuries ago...

I have noticed some examples like these items in old collectors of Chinese descendents in Indonesia. However, when they presented them to the west appraisers to get them appraised, the appraisers claimed them as forgery, modern and repro....

    Great!!
