Autism Symptom- Spinning car wheels

This is taken from the video of Nathan's initial speech evaluation in October 2007. Before I realized that spinning wheels was a stim, I thought Nathan just "loved his cars". He would spin the wheels for hours at home. He has been in therapy and by January of 2008, most of the wheel spinning was gone. His stim for this month (June/July 2008) has been hand clapping. He LOVES to clap his hands, (and for everyone to clap their hands). Check my other videos for current progress. Early intervention is the key!!!!!!! Don't be afraid to admit your child has a problem. I am so thankful for all the therapy that Nathan has received. His progress has been amazing!!
