The Last Mission MSX2

In 1987 the Spanish software house Opera Soft released The Last Mission. As with several of their other games they released two versions for the MSX system, one for the MSX and one for the MSX2. This clip shows the MSX2 version but the MSX version virtually the same, except for the less detailed graphics.

Your mission is to reach the surface of a planet and to report about its defense status. In a James Bond-like device you must go through the levels until you reach the surface. For this clip I used a cheat.

Opera Soft was very active in the late 1980s producing releasing many games for the MSX and other platforms like the ZX Spectrum and Amstrad.
