T Rex 450 on 8 Cell NiMh

Just for fun.... trying to fly my T Rex 450 (okay its an HK450) on an old NiMh battery I had lying around from several years ago (use it as a tx pack now) I flew almost 1 minute with this pack earlier in the day, and the duration is not exactly mind blowing as one can see :P

no probs, the v3 headblock is a nice addition to the v2 head as it increases the disk area, and the torque tube tail upgrade also looks pretty good

I bought a cnc tail already, for like £12 and I am going to either buy a v3 head, or a sonix head methinks I can get the main head for another £26

Just buy a CopterX cnc rotor at ehirobo. It's only about 49.99 USD (and also includes a cnc tail rotor)

My hk450 has this "upgrade", and I'm very impressed with the results!

actually it still has the stock head, just has trueblood dampeners, and carbon blades and paddles. it has a carbon tail boom and fins and a cnc tail also, torque tube, carbon frames and a cnc main rotor head in the future :)

i normally use lipos, this was an experimenst since i was told it was impossible, bah i proved them wrong :P
