4th Sands Leadership Lecture

Professor Sydney Finkelstein, Steven Roth Professor of Management at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, spoke at Simon for the 4th Sands Leadership Lecture. The topic of his presentation was leadership and decision making and trying to answer why smart and experienced leaders make bad decisions. Professor Finkelsteins research shows that our brains are wired for action and how this affects our decision making process. Armed with this understanding Professor Finkelstein has identified four red flags for leaders to look for to prevent them from making poor decisions
