states have been ceding from the union for the last 17 years . California was the first to do so . mainstream media is not allowed to report on this ( national security reasons ) but there are many independent report on this online . just google ----------> " american secession movement " no joke .

No, they were thrown out due to the country failing, as well as Shay's Rebellion.

@AmericanNohbuddy No. The Articles were thrown out because the elites wanted more power over the people and the local communities. The Constitution was a coup against liberty, self-determination & local autonomy.

Slaver was ending world over, but not in the US south.
The south wanted expansion of slavery to the west.

@AmericanNohbuddy seems xenophobic to think of your version of u.s. as the only one, the place is 2000 milies across. And everyone has dual citizenship, most cuontries. Also pope demanded a "embassy" (he has in washington since Reagan gave it to him, so he is acknowledged foreign state, and in that way, catholics became dual nationals. So, why is somebody else's foreign state such a big deal, LOL. Do you get that p.o.'d every time you see a puerto rico flag? hypocrite.

Slavery was ending the world over, and the catholics in south america, especially the spanish and portuguese had 90% of the transaltantic slave trade (back in reality). U.S. south was comparatively small to rest of the colonized world. You don't hear about that right now, b/c catholics have a lot of power. Like, how manifest destiny (protestant associated) is BAD, but "right of return' (israel) is good, or killing heretics (cahtlic) is heroes.

@mookins45 See no evidence. But outlawing Bible Belt crops since colonial times (like Tobacco Acts) did affect VA/TN, etc, and close 450K farms. That made it easy for yankess to buy land cheap. So one guesses it's them that will be choking on the dust. MayB they should have thought of that before outlawing crops, like turning off water in CA on farms, or flooding missouri lands, or saving smelts and sucker fish, lol So, shlda thought of that before devaluing it and moving there, lol

The south hosts the nation's two largest research parks (aerospace, chemistry, biosciences, electronics, etc), with seven of the top ten also located there.
