This is an extended piece for Big Band in three movements. About 35 Minutes total lenght. This is the first part of the first movement.
The piece was written on commission for the Jazz Orchestra of the Escuela Municipal de Musica de Rosario. Althought this is a student group and we played it live only once, we all worked so hard on this that I thought I could put it on youtube until we played it again.

The group is:
Diego Aurelli, Martin Devadder, Sergio Peresutti, Cristian Gualtieri (Tpts.)
María Angeles Carmona, Milton Mendez, Franco Espindola (Tbns), David Castro (Bass Tb.)
Pablo Devadder (SS,AS), Ismael Avecilla (AS), Ricardo Tupayachi, Pablo Cauzillo (TS), Angel Osuna (BS)
Mariano Ferreyra (P), Emiliano Salinas (B), Rosina Scampino (D). Mariano Ruggieri plays piano in other part of the piece.
Leonardo Piantino (Composer, arranger, conductor)

Tenor Sax solo Ricardo Tupayachi
Trombone solo Milton Mendez

This music is heavily influenced by Maria Schneider, Bob Brookmeyer, Jim McNeely, David Liebman and lots more...
