@PyroDimplomatic They're attributed to them now because of lawsuits.

Howlin' Wolf obscure??????

AC/DC covered "School Days" and "Baby Please Don't Go" which didn't even sound like the originals, but they still credited Chuck Berry and Joe Williams and didn't take credit even though the arrangements were different.

@PyroDimplomatic Only after Led Zeppelin was sued by those artists, were they ever credited. Learn your facts before hand. The original albums do not credit anyone. Maybe your CD from 2008 has credits on it but not the originals records, you know those things before cassettes and 8-tracks.

Music in general has a grand tradition of stealing. Look at modern music, they had to invent the word 'sampling' because stealing just sounds too dirty. Zeppelin were great musicians regardless. While not giving credit is a shitty, shitty thing to do, they left a huge impact on the industry and future of rock by being arguably the most musically talented quartet in rock. Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix, the friggin Beatles, all stole entire songs, so Zeppelin isn't the only guilty party.

Wow. It's obvious that these British fucks grew up listening to American blues and it rubbed off on them. And by "rubbed off on them" I mean "was scraped off with a putty knife by them".
Now they're rolling around on piles of cash in their London/Hollywood mansions, meanwhile the black blues legends fucking died penniless in some backwoods Louisiana parish.

Whole Lotta Plagiarism

@PyroDimplomatic you obiously don;t own the orignal albums..plus there's more.
f you, get informed, go believe in Jesus, or face the betrayal. My Led Zep shirt is in the garbage. You'll do the same once the truth sinks in
They (and apparently most of you posting here) dont know what the hell they are talking about. All the songs, including I Can't Quit You and Babe I'm gonna leave you are correctly attributed to those who wrote them. Just because you record another person's song doesn't mean you stole it.

@PyroDimplomatic No, but recording something and then saying "I wrote this." is stealing. Glad we cleared that up.
