You have to reprogam both keys at the same time. Just press buttons on the old / existing remote once you program the new remote

all the remotes and keys? the old pre-programed remote needs to re-program after programing the new one?

Except for Toyota you always have to reprogram old remote after you program new one.

You do not program individual buttons. All buttons should work once you program the remote
