  • safety precaution for retards! Maybe you shouldn't play with sharp things elena!!

  • .:says like cartman:. Whatever, whatever! I do what I want!! :)

  • dont put duct tape on it that will ruin your blade, it will make it all sticky. Even regular tape might do that, but i have never tried that, so i dont know.

  • I don't think it will ruin the blade, and I'm sure you could easily clean off the "stickiness." I dunno about you, but I like to clean my knife, so it'd all be in fun. :) I think a little extra precaution is worth not hurting oneself.

  • wrong!!!! most trainers have the cutouts on the live side or the blade is marked etc.

  • see but the problem wit using a cover or training blade is u dont get used to the fact that there IS a sharp side. once u take the cover off or transition to a real blade you will not distinguish between the 2 sides therefore leading to more cuts than if u had just used a straight balisong. my recommendation is deal with the cuts. yes they happen oh well. just take it slow learn one trick at a time and always watch wut your doin til u know u can do a trick wit out lookin.

  • You could just order a trainer blade, they are dull and weighted the same.

  • Thanks for the tip. =) I was thinking about getting one, because they look really fun, and they look HELLA cool. =] I don't have enough money to buy a good one, though. =[ I was wondering how I could cover it up so I wouldn't cut myself up while practicing. I never thought about tape. =] Oh, and to the guy who said that the blade will be sticky, a small ammount of rubbing alcohol will get the sticky off. =]
