Tomboy does not mean a girl is gay. Tomboy just means she's just not into the prissy girly girl stuff. And just because a girl isn't all girly doesn't mean she's a lesbo. That's a bad assumption to make. Your basing someone's likes and turning them into a sexual preference. Some girls are born into families that are really into sports, so she too plays sports. And it ain't easy playing basketball in short shorts. So just because she likes something different from girly stuff doesn't mean gay.

Aaliyah was a self-proclaimed "tomboy" yet she was the sexiest chick in the game! And was strictly dickly. Hmmph! Like the girl from "love and basketball". u jus gotta give them time to grow into a womanly female outta adolescence.

They are so right about Kelly needing some Clive action. AND so wrong about tomboy being a polite way of saying gay. ( directed at Makael). I was a tomboy a long time ago and have never felt the urge to get with a female or even considered it. Yes I'm just about 50, so there. Just like refering to one's lover as wifey or partner, it's messed up.

Tomboy just means that she likes to do things that has been catergorized by society as being "boylike" or male gender specific. Just because a girl may like to do those things does not mean that they are attracted to females or prefer to be with a female.
