@MisoSoop I did think of the LOTR too, the very first notes are exactly the same!!!

@benitybob I agree. Especially since it's a soundtrack.... You can't have words in every song because then the movie would be crap. I used to hate wordless songs too when I was 10.. then I grew up and listening to some beautiful compositions and I love soundtrack music now and other orchestral music <3

I like the whole soundtrack but a couple of the songs sound a lot like the Lord of the Rings soundtrack
-
every time i see the film, i have to skip it to the bit where they snog because i can't wait

Whenever I listen to themes like this I always hear other songs inside it, almost like a musical mosaic. In this song I hear the hobbit theme from lord of the rings like others have mentioned, but I also hear the theme of October Sky, which is excellent, because they're both fantastic pieces of music.

@MisoSoop I know, me too! I was like Lord of the Rings?! But then it changed... lol

@funnybunny373 This Was Our Marching Band Outro (:
-
we are playing this some of this as our marching band warm ups
-
@Lordi665 Also the first 3-4 notes are the same interval as the Shire part of the music... But I love that it's so absolutely unique :)
-
it reminds me of the love theme music from Pearl Habor
I thought of Hobbits when the song started, lol, but the song has its own tweaks in it that makes it its own; but I feel they convey the same feeling, one that's peaceful and happy.

The point of any form of communication (music being one form) is to convey an idea from one person to another, which, in my opinion, this piece achieves beautifully. You are free to dislike it for the music itself, but disliking it merely because it does not have words is a rather asinine decision.
