Obviously someone has never heard a raccoon referred to as a "coon". If they think the line is racist they are sadly mistaken. Raccoon am sweet and good to eat. Yum, yum.

Checked out YT and couldn't find "This Ole House" sung by Ray Walker.
I'm not familiar with this genre of music. If you know someone who might have a copy of Mr. Walker's version; could you please upload it?
I'll "subscribe" to your channel so it will appear if and when you are able to upload it..
Thank you in advance. :))

Dolly is cool, but has always sounded like a hummingbird on helium.
"Do Do Do"?
What kind of house are they singing about?
An outhouse?
Such nice voices and such poor arrangement.
Not the worst i've heard.
Just saying.
Check out Ray Walker's version.

Dolly Parton to the Smothers Brothers in less than 4 minutes! You can't ask for more "cultural inclusiveness" than that! :-)

Not familiar with Mr. Dennison, but then again I voted for Nixon for president......in the last election! Thanks for the info.
So who are the guys singing with Dolly? Chopped liver? She just calls them "guys". They're good. They should at least be introduced.

@ArkRed1 the guy next to dolly is her brother in law Richard Dennison which practically everybody knows, Dolly is always humble and introducting and crediting her band, she is probably the friendliest person on the planet.

Miss Dolly is also a class act away from the cameras too, met her when Dollywood was being built.
I was in the construction office getting coffee when she walked in and immediately she said "Howdy mister trucker", I kind of mumbled a reply and Dolly said "What's wrong big man cat got your tongue".
The lady's eyes absolutely sparkle and she will talk directly to you.

@DammitDrag Lucky Lucky you - I always imagined she would be that way in person. I never tire of hearing dolly stories - you can see how down to earth and humble she is. Dolly has clung to her warm, honest country upbringing and it just adds to her likeability and success - there's nobody like Dolly!
