Devantech SP03 Text-to-Speech Synthesizer

Here you can see (and hear) my SP03.
The Sp03 is a small Text-to-Speech synthesizer.
Normally the Sp03 uses only a little 0,4Watt speaker. I connected a bigger speaker through a external universal amp.


The text is:
"How are you? I am fine! My name is SP03. I was build by Devantech. You can send me a englisch text and my integrated speech synthesizer willl produce a voice. Can you understand me? I am very sorry, but I can speak only english."

Hey man... excellent video...I have a few questions:

1) did you pre-program the sentences? or did you send it word by word?

2) What are the max and min values for the pitch?

Hi, sorry for my late answer.

I use my account not so often.

1) I used the integrated memory for the test sentences. But the result is the same, if you send the text word by word. You can't hear any difference.

2) You mean the frequency of the voice?

You can set the pitch within 8 grades.

I don't now, if this is the right answer.

can you adjust the voice at all, or is it limited to adult male?

You can adjust some paramters, like the speed and the pitch, but its always male like.
