  • Seriously @ 05:30 what the fuck are these girls doing or thinking? It's not a dis I swear, but if you think that is hip-hop...No! It just fucking isn't, it's nonsense. I'm just trying to give very constructive criticism.

  • @ 5:30 the girls are dancing. Sadly, we didn't have any usable performance footage of KLT and so right after our interview with them we asked the two members of their 10+ person crew if they could could freestyle for us. Which is not to make excuses for them, they're a great group and having been working hard to develop Hip Hop culture in Kunming.

  • I'd certainly love to grind anyone of those two lovelies out anyway.

  • Having watched again for a second time and read your comment I don't think it's that bad, just a little unusual

  • Agree with that statement

  • As a hip hop dancer myself. I found out that to progress in this type of dance you really need to have no attached associations with what hip-hop 'should' be. instead take inspiration from the culture and follow whatever is natural to yourself. I think the guys in this video is just seeing what is in front of their eyes and kinda imitating what they think is 'cool'. I find even tho the facts r that hip hop came from black culture, hip-hop today crosses all racial boundaries. : )

  • i find that Hip-hop has no real definition. The only way i can define hip hop is to keep things real to urself.. in this case I think that its a good thing that china has been opened to hip hop but the way its interpreted is still in its early stages. China can create its own style of 'hip-hop' just like anywhere else in the world. But as i said before, the key is to keep things real to urself. for me that is the true essence of hip-hop culture.
