Collaboration software also enables students to collaborate with peers, lecturers, and professors, encouraging a better, more comprehensive education.

Universities are all about collaboration. Researchers need to collaborate with other researchers , whether thats in their own field of study or different fields of study. Interdisciplinary research is really big right now, and its all about being to find and collaborate with the people that can help them with their own research projects. Universities are also very keen to make sure that students collaborate with their peers, and that lecturers and professors are in contact with their students and that students have easy access to the people that can help them get better degrees.
