It's not the drains, if you live in wallington you will see it's a hill, well you can't see its a hill for the houses, but there are surpsingly hills there and when you get this bad rain it runs like rivers through the streets, no drain can take that away , this bridge is on a dip under it, the water has nowhere to go unless you made a drain across the whole road which wouldn't then leave a road, they can't raise the train line above it, this needs major work not a drain clearage.

walked under that bridge the other day. Drains full of shit. No wonder this keeps happening. Stop wasting money fucking up the pavement and clear out those drains!!!

Sutton Council and Thames Water can't decide who is responsible for the drainage, and so the drain remains blocked, and no new ones are installed leading to the scenes featured in this video.
They should just pay 50/50 and stop putting lives at risk.
