GC F-Zero GX - Intro

I bought my SNES with F-Zero. I bought my N64 when F-Zero X came out. I bought my GameCube when this one came out. I bought my DS, but no F-Zero. I bought my Wii, but no F-Zero (Nintendo, take the hint.).

So yes, If a game makes me buy a games console, its fair to assume, im a fan of it. Nothing could be more accurate about F-Zero. Changed my life the moment I came home, set up my SNES and played that very first lap on Mute City.

But this one...this one is simply the best! First and foremost, who would ever expect to see such a sight: a Nintendo Sega AM cooperative project. The Dreamcast had just been craped of the marked (T_T) and Sega became a software only company. When they decided to team up for this F-Zero, I was excited.

The game has two versions, AX (Arcade, running on Triforce hardware) and GX, this gamecube version. The entire AX game content is included on this GameCube mini DVD (one extra GP with 5 tracks, parts that are only unlockable by taking the memory card to the arcade AX machine, extra pilots, etc), but getting it allis hard work.

Hard work wich I enjoyed! I only had this game with my GameCube, so I play it to death. Its really hard, but not unfair. The new stuff like making our own vehicle by combining parts was pure genius. I have everything there is to unlock on this game!

So here you have the Intro, 2 tracks and 2 of the games CGI movies. Enjoy the music, my first F-Zero GX video, but I doubt it will be my last...

It's all now up to Nintendo to deliver a Wii F-Zero that can top this. I can hardly wait!

they should make a new f-zero, but I'm afraid it would end up getting toned down for casual players and grandmas.....

wish i had this game. a friend 5 or so years back stole my copy then moved and i'v been trying to track down another copy for cheap that i dont have to get through the internet. definitely1 of my favorite gamecube games

I like the gamecube version of this game better. It is so awesome, I even learned how to snake which can beat all of the racers on a higher level. I even unlocked the original remix of Big Blue and the AX cup!

I remember playing this when I was little with my friend across the street I'm in grade 10 now and he is graduated and we don't talk much, but those were the times. those were the times....=(
