you seem to forgot that they were a "Global Phenomena" and Achieved "World Domination" and the world went in the Famous Phase of "Spice Mania" that only the Beatles Achieved.

Statistically They are one of the Greatest Bands in the History of Music and the Greatest and No. 1 all Girls band, 14 years later and still No one came near them

like hell the media made them...the fans made them, and they effin made themselves. If the media would flick off, and stop asking questions they already know the answers to the girls wouldn't have anything to say in their defense which is all they were doing. The girls have a right to slag the the media anyway cuz they do it to them. If the media can break them they would have been broken a long time ago, and I highly doubt they would have had a successful reunion if their careers were broken.
