This slightly modified N Scale loco has extra weight and floating rear bearings,
to show that this engine has great pulling capacity with some work. This is on level track.

  • That seems so impossible though

  • @xxxIronHeadxxx It is absolutely possible, and it is not a trick. That track is dead-level (not going "downhill" or any other funny business). It's just a matter of adding weight and good adjustment in the drivers to get lots of traction.

  • But be aware, like I pointed out, this is an extensively MODIFIED 0-8-0. When I got it, it would only pull 3 (yes THREE) cars.

  • Everyone, you just witnessed AT LEAST $3000 inch away from your eyesight.

  • Wow, thats really impressive.

  • Wow that thing can pull. Im impressed with the Proto N. I had 43 cars behide my GP-18 and it pulled those up hills with no problem.
