Dear LeRoi because your musical talents were captured in live performances, those who love you and know your music continue to introduce your archives to us. It's been three years since we lost you but your music finds us so lovingly and graciously. Thank you for sharing yourself with us through your sax, flute and penny whistles which nobody's performance compares to date. Keep the music alive so that we can watch you perform on the New Earth.

Today's the day, everyone. 2 years since the loss of a great man, great soul, great sax player. I'd like everyone to do something in tribute to Leroi--whether it be playing nothing but DMB music today, watching only DMB videos on YT, meditating on Leroi's legacy and talent, taking up sax lessons--I don't care.............just please do SOMETHING to honor his legacy. I know it would make Leroi smile..............R.I.P. buddy.

dave u are the fucking man. im 15 nd ive been listening to dave since i was 9.. and i think the band its super crazy that they had to deal with his loss and continue to play the same day.. RIP LeRoi u will never be forgotten

Let them be an example of how brothers can love to play and share their music for their fans, and one another. . If you ever feel uneasy or little scared. rinacrain 30, I am Someone who loves this band more than you will ever know. It's unfortunate that you see it as poking fun when actually it is my way of honoring a man who is profoundly human & is courageous enough to love. It is a shame that too many us refuse to feel but rather blow up a city, town or country instead. This is one of the most beautiful expressions of 'love' I've seen. Maybe someday you will appreciate what you've just witnessed & perhaps inspire you to express yourself too.

Anyway, 3 years ago today. Once again, I ask everyone to do something to keep Leroi's legacy alive. One of my original suggestions would be good, or you can do something else in his memory.
