the iraqi insurgents are too clever. They will never allow the zionists' scheme to be fulfilled in their country. That's why they keep destroying every american attempt to have control over iraq and "declare victory". It will never happen. Those so called iraqi politicians are american staged..hiding in the green zone.

@ichrammsteinfan Because thats another part of the big picture, the last thing the US government (for one) wants is for people to think, so they guide culture towards that stuff.
Plus a depressing world creates much escapism. Nonsensical humour is perfect escapism.

I appreciate all the things he had to say and am inclined to side with him, but why the jump from the Iraq war to the execution of criminals here at home? I see these as unrelated... bombing innocent Iraq citizens and frying a convicted murderer are not the same thing. I agree with Mr Scahill right up to the point that he might start the liberal shopping list...
