@LTM32893 attractive male and female who are strangers to one another, alone by themselves is a breeding situation technically. lets state the facts that we can observe through history. this is why sex on the first date is a big issue in america. it doesnt matter how civilized the man is. he will have lustful thoughts if left alone with an attractive female. so it is important to have a relative to accommodate both parties. it helps to keep there indecent thoughts from materializing. lol

@imreadyyo26 It shows nothing of the sort. That is an absurd leap, untrue, and an ad hominem argument. When you're with people, friends, cousins, whatever, you don't want Big Brother there to listen to everything you're talking about, even if it is an extremely mundane topic.

@LTM32893 the fact that you feel uncomfortable with another person shows your true intention. it shows that you would rather be in seclusion with someone so you can be the perve you want or talk about issues that dont need to be talked about yet. your not supposed to be getting intimate on the first or second date. you should be discussing real issues about each other. not "your so pretty" what size is your breast" and all the nasty things people say when left alone.

@imreadyyo26 I honestly am not trying to sound rude, but there is no other way to put this: your proposition is deluded and foolish. Call me a cynic, but I don't know how you can truly know if someone has "pure intentions." Call me crazy, but courtship is supposed to be a time when two people become intimate and learn about each other--adding a third wheel will muck it up and make it uncomfortable. I don't live in your matrix of pick-and-choose pseudobiblical morality, and am glad of it.

@imreadyyo26 I don't deny the fact that people shouldn't "have sex with whomever is willing." I do, however, deny that there should be LAWS against sex prohibiting it under penalty of fines, incarceration, or corporal punishment. That is what happens in what we largely perceive as uncivilized nations like Saudi Arabia. I also deny the last two sentences of your argument seeing as you have no proof and there is no reason to base a nation's civility on their gov'ts involvement in their sex lives.

@LTM32893 and its people that lived in a fairy tales that changed our world because they believed what was considered impossible and just too far out. i dont live in your matrix of condoms that allow you to live out your worldly fantasies with jane. i say again. we are not beasts. here is my solution. seek a wife with pure intentions. get to know the family and her. then court her with a relative to keep her honor in tact. then if you like her get married. if she likes you. "civilized"

@LTM32893 you dont have to be holy to accept the truth. the truth is sex is a natural instinct and if it is not controlled by the higher values of a people it can become a serious problem. we are not beasts that are supposed to have sex with whomever is willing. if we treated our civilization like our sex lives we would be like cavemen wearing pieces of leaves for protection. it is hypocritical to call our nation civilized and we cant even be truly civilized when it comes to sex.

That is not the problem. The problem is holy rollers who think that they are entitled to tell people what they should do in the bedroom. You need to stop living in fairy tale land and realize that, regardless of what you make illegal, people will still have sex. People get STDs because they have sex with people who have STDs without using protection, or their protection breaks because they don't know how to use it properly
