Thank you very much. A normal dictionary usually has no information on such things.

A harbor bar is long ridge of sand, rock, etc. just above the surface of the water in the mouth of the harbor entrance. 'When the harbor bar be moaning' refers to the belief that if the wind or tide made a moaning sound as it moved over the sand bar that kept the harbor waters safe and still, it was a bad omen.

Firstly: this is a beautiful rendition of this song.
Secondly: I'm not a native speaker of English, so could anyone be so nice to tell me what the "moaning harbor bar" means?
Thanks, Laura

@CanadianPat493 I think I saw Am, C, G, Am, Em, G, but
I'm not exactly sure...

Would you be so kind as to post the chords please? I've been looking everywhere, and next to Nathan, you are one of the best representations of Stan that I've ever had the pleasure of hearing... The chords I found are flat out wrong, and I know you've got it all from memory, which is even more impressive, but, if you wouldn't mind too terribly, I'd love to see those chords!

Really great cover man. humble and beautiful as is it should be . This is one of my fav song as well. It feels great to see and listen to these kind of true sincere things. Too many fuckin posers in youtube. Your intepretation is just great. Sincerely

You seem to sing so effortlessly, you have this great voice, just really enjoy listening to you sing this cover. Do you have a CD yet? Have you covered Stan's song, "Last Christmas?

A beautiful tribute. Keep on playing!
That fingerpicking is great. I can't find the appropriate tab on the net. Where did you find it, or did you figure it out by ear?
