  • it is always impressive to look at ficher games.

good work. How about Karpov videos?. Comes very soon may be?

  • Maybe in the future, yes - for now I have Corus and an endgame series to do!

  • Thanks Sean.

Another great video in this series about Fischer. Are you still planning on doing an endgame series after the Fischer series is finished?

  • Hi Jeremy, yup for sure I love endgame theory - in my opinion it is by far the most important - and I'm really looking forward to making the series. Bit of trouble at the moment cos my net is down but it should be up and running again before long. All the best!

    Sean

  • 2:48 why Natelson maneuver?

  • Thumbs up if you think Bobby Fisher is a great chess player! :)

  • who won?

  • Yes it would be for sure; wasn't it those games against Kramnik that led Kasparov to abandon the opening altogther? I think it was, but I'm not sure. In any case, at club level it's a powerful weapon - and even at GM level if you have the guts for it! Radjabov is the shining contemporary example; hats off to him!

  • thenk you

  • lol, ok you confirmed that it was the bayonet attack that has sent black players running. Maybe that's a potential topic for the future. Not sure if you covered the Kasparov v. Kramnick championship match (think you might have), should be very instructive.

  • Great game and great commentary. I agree about the KID. It's an awesome opening. Too bad it has fallen out of favor at top play, heard it was because of White's bayonet attack? But no one knows all the deep theories behind it at amateur level so it's still a great weapon. :)
