Russell Brand was mocking Jesus in front of the Hudson's at Holiday dinners which wasnt cool or respectful. Of course Brand--who claims to be a Hindu (sure he is)--has also mocked Christ in public. Try mocking Muhammed, Uncle Russ, and see where that gets ya. Its always the same. Mocking Jesus is easy cause Jesus' true followers never retaliate.
