Exactly! NJ is and always has been a very liberal state where most people view homosexuality with acceptance or at the very least, indifference. I hate how the rest of the world focused on McGreevey being gay-- the focus rightfully should have been how he abused his power and taxpayer money.

I remember watching this when I was 14. The issue never was that he was gay-- the entire issue was that he promoted his lover and gave the guy special treatment on taxpayer money! Then again, I grew up learning that politicians can't be trusted-- Clinton lied, McGreevey lied, Bush lied, Obama's probably lying... I don't agree with Christie's politics, but at least the man is unapologetically honest.

My first ex had 2 children & was married twice. My second ex was a bicycle policeman in NYC who agonized about being found out both in the NYPD and within his own family. He suffered so much and because of that, a great relationship had to sadly come to an end for his own well-being. There were no steretypes in either relationship. It just goes to show that you can not tell that 90% of gay people are gay. This is what many people need to understand & realize. Live & let live...Love & let love...
