The show was on Wednesday nights I believe at 6pm on channel 26 in Chicago. If I remember right they recorded on Tuesday. I recall this cause I use to have to carry my fathers Fender 2 piece amp up from the basement when I was a child ( I think I was about 10 years old then) It was a 1950's style and he would have it warm up in the living room. Then I would help him load it in the trunk of out 1976 Oldsmobile Delta 88. Wow this brings back memories
WOW that was great !! My father was Eddie Sr. bass player. He is not in this video clip. I dont think this is the original Eddie Korosa Polka band. The band can also be seen in the movie Men Don't Leave. My father is in that... Really cool. My father has the vcr tapes of this show and I will try to post them as soon as possible.
It was a great time playing on the show.Brings back lots of memorries.I cant belive I have brown hair. After the show we went to ed devicks.

Was this a tv show shown in Chicago at any time? I seem to remember a "Polka Party" show on in Chicago when I was growing up, in the sixties!

The Polka is coming back! It's such a good time
to dance and sing - It's fun. Never mind the smart ass critics, the Polka is Hip, not hype like the sorry, mediocre, dull rock of today.
