the landlord of that building should AT LEAST be sued or be thrown in jail. it doesnt matter how small or large the place is. At least paint the place and fix whatever needs to be fixed

Oh my gosh. At least get a plaster and painting job and since the apartment is small don't clutter it. I don't care where you live is neatness that expresses the house you're in.
