Dr. Norman Hester: Advanced Racing Laws and Enforcement

Dr. Norman Hester is Technical Director of Truesdail Laboratories. On March 12, 2008, Dr. Hester spoke to the Advanced Racing Laws and Enforcement class about "general laboratory operations, issues or criteria that are used/should be used to pick a laboratory, laboratory director's role in advising the commission regarding medication/drug rules, and what happens after a positive is called."

The Race Track Industry Program (RTIP) at the University of Arizona is the only program of its kind. We offer two paths based on student interest. The Business Path prepares students for employment in the areas of race track management, regulation and pari-mutuel racing organizations.
