At a sushi bar in Japan the chef plucks a fish out of a tank and turns it into sushi in ~1 minute. Serves it to us on a plate with the carcass of the fish still twitching.

nope actually its still alive.. look at that fish they did the same thing to - but when they put it in the tank it was still alive and swimming around.. its on youtube search for it.

  • i was wondering the same thing lol

  • what kind of fish is that? is that a freshwater or saltwater fish?

  • the fresher the sushi is

    the better the taste is

  • The fish is not dead just because they removed the meat from the sides. This is crewel and video after video you hear people laughing...sick. Just kill the damn think, a few seconds is not going to change the "freshness"....

  • i dont know why people complain about this the same thing pretty much happens to fish everywere in the world only here u see it get cut up.

if this makes anyone mad im sorry im just trying to make a point

  • thank you! and to add to that, alwa needs to be a little more culturally diverse and aware. different cultures have different approaches to food. but in the end it all goes in the same way and all goes out the same way. so get over it!

  • the fish is dead quickly. it only still moves because the nerves are reacting. it's the same thing as when a chicken is slaughtered and they decapitate it, the chickens body runs and flaps around. that is merely the nerves that have yet to die. but the animal itself is long dead.

  • You're so stupid. Stop eating meat if you find this offensive. The only difference between the meat you eat and the meat that is presented in the video is that you can see it get slaughtered.
