I took a walk in the Kit Carson Memorial State Park, which is actually a graveyard, or cemetery.
I watched several people also taking pictures; but they only took a few and then got the heck out of there. Actually, I got sort of spooky feeling at the beginning but I got over it. In this video you will see Kit Carson's grave stone as well as Padre Martinez and Mabel Dodge Luhan.
I had to add different music with AudioSwap:
Bat Nav
artist: Slot
album: The Sweet Black Bear
genre: Alternative & Punk

The original music was Crazy by the Kidney Thieves but YouTube made me take it off. It was much more appropriate. Well, that is still the song on the video on my hard drive.

  • @MrJeppe22

Good idea! thanks for your comment.

  • Kit Carson's resting place is a special destination for local indians. In Taos New Mexico an old foot path has been tread for generations. Tewa Indians walk this path daily. After an all-day drunk stumbling and shuffling back home to the reservation they stop and pee on Kit Carson's grave. FACT

  • @jeanscottbenson

I've heard that before, only I heard they don't just pee. It's good to hear from people how badly the Indians were treated by him. Thanks.

  • Please write what is music

  • @andreasmandreas

I got the music with AudioSwap:

    Song: Bat Nav

    artist: Slot

    album: The Sweet Black Bear

    genre: Alternative & Punk

  • @kieree2014 I'm also a relative of Kit. I think my mom said something about him being my great great great uncle. (I don't remember how many greats. xD)

  • @jeanscottbenson I have a photo of his grave taken back in the 60's when I was a snot-nose........ did alittle research years ago on him, was a stud in his younger years, went all over the place was actually great friends , lived with , thought of as family by several tribes,... untill the US Govt got ahold of him, during there quest to destroy indian tribes........ Kit taught them how. Thats why they detest him to this day. Cant says I blame them.

  • @jeanscottbenson IF true, that is pathetic. When a people is so degraded as to use that as its "revenge," they have about reached the end. Drunks peeing on a grave. Wow. If they want to "prove" something, then they need to succeed, to make something of themselves....all this proves is that they're acting as bad as the prejudiced people thought they were....
