Thank you for posting this. It's wonderful to have the musical Psalm settings, especially when sung by Arthur Cormack. My Gaelic is so rusty I won't try posting a comment in it. I'm American, studied in Nova Scotia and lived in Skye for a while, but it was a long time ago.

@UISTMAN59 Thank you for your detailed reply. I have that CD, so perhaps that's why it sounded familiar.

I also know that "Oran Beinn-Li" was sung by Cathy-Ann MacPhee on her CD "Mairi Mhor". I don't know if it's available online...but if it is, you will be able to get the song there.

this gaelic psalm is as good as music like this can get in every true sense, thanks uistman for posting this sensational arthur cormack song.

I would like to hear him singing "an cluinn thu mi mo nighean donn" if you have it.

Thank you for producing and posting this video. The scenes are lovely and Arthur Cormack's voice is so beautiful! :-)
Is that Mary Ann Kennedy singing backing vocals?

@Finarphin The recording is by "Cliar" from the CD Lasair Dhe. The solo is by Arthur Cormack and the backing vocals by the female members of Cliar, consisting at that time of Mary Ann Kennedy, Maggie Macdonald and Ingrid Henderson.

Uistman - Feasgar math dhuibh! You wouldn't by chance have "Oran Beinn-Li", would you? I heard that recently in a local Celtic-theme eating-house, in Denver yet, and I yelped, "Holy cow, that's Art Cormack!" and begged the server to run back and get the title off their satellite feed before it ended. Gorgeous song, but I can't find a recording online...

There are even a few people in the States who have the Gaelic. Many more, of course in Canada, specifically Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
I enjoyed this psalm arrangement and the lovely photos of Skye very much. Gle mhath agus tapaidh leibh! :)
