Noel Clarke (Arlington) d. Dereck Phillips (Suffern) 7-2
Clarke finished the season 3rd in NYS.
Arlington's highest NYS finish since 1981 when Scott Nichols lost a heart breaker in the 250 lb State Finals 10-7.
Clarke joins Nichols, Jeff Elliott (5th-1982 @ 98lb), Dave Robin (5th-1988 @ 132lb), and
Pat Beckley (6th-1999 @ 130lb) as the only state placers in AHS history.
Nichols was also NCAA DIII All-American in 1983 for Brockport.
