  • Nice vid. I'm addicted to all your TX freeway vids. Can you do an updated version of 87 Crystal Beach? It's a lot better now. Not 100% but much better! :]

  • @kosmogurlkt I will see what i can do, i do have intentions on refilming this and more roads on and near the coast of the galveston area.

  • Very good footage,so sad to see that this is all that remains of Crystal Beach.

  • @Crocfan20 its gettn better , i was there actually about a month ago , and its getting better slowly

  • Are you allowed to overtake on such roads?

  • as long as the middle divider is not a solid white , and the cross traffic permits passing capabilty , yes

  • @ScrewdUPClickV2 awesome, can't wait!

  • too bad you dont have a 4 wh drive truck and you couldve went down the washed out beach part at the end...mckellan beach, some ppl use it as a nude beach, but dont say i said so...LOL

  • Grew up fishing and partying all over this beach....Mother nature at her best and worst...wipe'd dat slate clean d'heck off Crystal Beach,She did. But heyy, just there. looks as though you can't keep a good Be-ach down! Coming back nicely! great video. cool music.. Who's is it?

  • It was really depressing to drive through Crystal Beach and Gilcrest after Ike. I love to go fishing at Rollover Pass (shown at 1:21), and there used to be bait shops and summer homes all around the area. The community is rebuilding slowly, which is encouraging to see, and the hurricane never stopped the droves of fishermen that love to visit. :)
