PHA Congressional Luncheon 2008-Meg Horne

PH Patient Meg Horne shares her experience at PHA's 5th Annual Congressional Luncheon in November, 2008.

Nearly 100 people from five states spread the word about pulmonary hypertension on Capitol Hill during the event. At lunch, legislative staff from across the country mingled with patients, family members and medical professionals. Post-lunch lobby visits put patients and family in their senators offices for meetings with legislative staff to support the Tom Lantos PH Research and Education Act and other PH-related legislation.
