How do you double record(Like, overdub so it sounds beefier) the same track? Mine only does a single wave of audio

@bubblehearth11 What you can do is duplicate it afterwards, or record it twice (common practice, so it's not exactly the same.)

Or if you have a stereo mic, assigned one channel to one track and the other to a separate track so you can record both simultaneously.

what program do you use for video editing?

I find it redundant to use an amp to record and still use the amp modeling effects in GB. One or the other works best unless your amp is just using GB post effects like reverbs or delays; something where you need a stereo separation (since your amp is always in mono unless you're running two mics on the speaker) I'd never use the amp sim while using my own amp at the same time on the same track. Not a pleasant guitar tone.

Dude thanks for the help-very good info.

However I put a mic on a cassette tape(LOL) and added this old song to GB,My problem is how do I make my keyboard controller match the pitch?- so I can add more backing tracks?

Any help would be great......

how do you record 5 instruments all at once?

what do you do so you can hear back the track? on my computer it just shows everything running but there is no sound.

@MacManLtd Thanks man. Another question...after i finish doing my music project and adjust all my audio levels to a nice, even, loud sound...I export it as an mp3 file but the sound overall decreases...the mix is fine...but it isnt as loud as i overall want it to be. I tried adjusting the master volume, each track to a higher level...nothing works. thanks.

The best way to get unity gain is to set your faders to 0db which I believe is automatically set in garage band and then turn your external preamp or power source up until you hit that sweet spot you were talking about before clipping begins.

What you call equilibrium is actually called unity gain which equals best signal to noise ratio if set right. I think the other word you were looking for is headroom.
