When this comes on the oldies station at work, it makes me think of relaxing with my lady on the beach drinking rum and punch. Beautiful song.

@Crome267 1964 was in the 50's? Well, now I know.

@ralphyboy25 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

@RealJeep Ok, so when Jerry Lee Lewis was singing "Whole lot of shakin' going on" he was really talking about ....um...... shaking hands?
And when he sang "Great Balls of Fire" he was singing about ............ um .......?
And when Chuck Berry asked 'Maybellene' why she don't do "those things" she used to do, he was talking about.........um........baking rhubarb pies?
Yes, all truly innocent times.......

Sorry to ruin your sexual fantasies kiddies but "having some fun" in 1958 did NOT mean sex, It was a much more innocent time. Gay meant happy, making love meant kissing and cuddling and the world is totally up-side down now days!

This song makes me think of the night life on well, the boardwalk.

@mightilamb Yes, the references were certainly there - just a little more subtle back then. And surely more melodic than a lot of today's claptrap.
I'm proud to listen to music of the 60s, 70s and 80s. I'd rather listen to stuff like this than repetitive annoying beats with lyrics about sex, hangovers, alcohol and drugs.
