it's a gibson 135. they look hollow-bodied but they're not, they have a solid block through the body to reduce feedback, & they have a deeper body than a 335, & this one has a bigsby vibrato. my guess: it would weigh more like 10 or 12lbs. but it's not just the way he hangs onto it & doesn't drop it, it's not just that he gets through the solo ok. it's the unfazed way he sings the next verse, riding the rhythm section, gets the words right, all the while fixing the strap. cool under fire dude!

There's a video bit of Eric Clapton at the Last Waltz concert - the same thing happens to him with the guitar strap, but he doesn't keep playing like Dermot! Oh, no! He has Robbie Robertson take over the solo! Pah - amateur! Anyone could have Robbie Robertson take over their solo.
