The "fuck you" phrase and gesture is very interesting. Apparantly both are ancient, according to Wikipedia. Can anyone remember the first time they saw someone give the "finger" in a movie or tv? I remember seeing the "finger" for the first time in a movie around 1982: A cop is questioning a black man on the street, and the black man keeps saying "fuck you" and flips the bird to every question and is arrested. I'd love to see it again but that scene is all i can remember
