Are you serious? Permissive? If you believe in the Abrahamic god you can not honestly reconcile this to any type of free will. The two can not coexist, and are in fact mutually exclusive. Why not thank your parents, your grandparents, the rest of your family your friends and your self motivation for the things that you have and the things you can do? I haven't thanked any deity for anything yet I have a healthy family a blossoming intellect a good career and I am happy.Why is that?Reason trumps faith every time.
