Unboxing- Canon Pixma MX340 WiFi Printer

In this video, I unbox my new multifunction printer, scanner, fax, copier. It's the Canon Pixma MX340. Retail price is $99. But on sale at Fry's Electronics this week for $65. A great price for an all in one, especially one with built in Wi-Fi.
It is both Windows and Mac compatible.

this printer came in free with the macbook pro 15" i7 I bought here in australia (officially switching to mac:) i haven't unpacked it coz i'm thinkng of sending it to my parents' coz its giant size scares me. i'm a student in a tiny room trying to minimise my baggage and then i get this! free. lol. it seems more of corporate office printer.

dunno why the apple store was so heavily insisting on it. at first i balked at its size.. but got it anyways. is this really a good all-in-one printer?

@EASF87 Sweet. Yeah, it's turning out to be a great all in one, especially for the price. The Canon easy photo print iphone app is freaking awesome..

I owned a Pixma, but since I was forced to always stocking all of the cartridges (i.e black AND all color tones) in order to access other functions such as scan... no thanks. You don't even have the choice of simply not using color and just go with monochrome printing, you must load at all times all of the ink.

Folks- a Multi Function Printer that turns into a ZERO function printer if you run out of one cartridge.

I won't make that mistake again in supporting such an abusive system.

i got my mx 340 printer today but it wont print using my usb cable. i called customer service but i have been on the line forever and my printer is still not working please help me. :(

i bought this pretty cheap like $80 and not a complaint yet. it serves its purpose. going to try some 4x6 photos in a minute on photopaper and see how it does

When I try to print photos I keep getting a generic message saying "A Communication error has occurred." Please help, what am I doing wrong and how can I fix it? I have checked the troubleshooting, but no answers.

what does code 214021 mean? i bought a canon pixma mx340 printer and spend all day trying to make this thing work via usb cord and wireless both did NOT work for scanning or printing. the directions booklet are very bad. i keep getting an error code saying printer in sue or an error code #214021. please help, thanks
