After the big success of Match Game in the 60s, this is what led to the successful revival of the Mark Goodson hit TV show with Gene Rayburn. So once again, get ready to match the stars: Bert Convy, Arlene Francis, Jack Klugman, JoAnn Pflug, Richard Dawson and Betty White. In this pilot, the pilot champion Susan with $1,200 faces off against new challenger, Wendy. Most matches goes to the Jackpot Match

  • 0:06 Johnny Olson burps.

  • @dagdogg Hate to correct you dagdogg, but Johnny Olson did not burp. That was a hiccup

  • It's nice to finally see the whole thing. Thanks very much! :)

  • @GSNSmashFan3 My pleasure!

  • I might have missed something...and I know this is a pilot and somewhat phony, but how did she go from winning 1200 to 1300 to winning an additional 5000 only to have a grand total winnings of 5300? Of course I am not serious about this question, just poking a little fun :)

  • @bretodom lol, got me there for a good moment there!

  • Joann Pflug was a very hot, sexy woman back then!!

  • usually it was always Richard Dawson that would go for the BIG money!!!

  • I have this somewhere on tape (got through a tape trade a LONG time ago), but the quality here is excellent! Also...I long for the days when the first "act" on a half-hour TV show was ten freakin' minutes! These days, you're lucky to get maybe five or six minutes of "show" before the ad dollars start pouring in to the network.

  • Richard: I was in Paris during the war...

    Gene: On our side?

Richard : No, I was a Japanese nurse (eye rolls)

    Classic! LOL

  • Nice Pflugs.

  • Arlene Francis looks gorgeous!!!!

  • The triangles were blue and the cards were green.

  • the triangle and circle lights by the celbrity panels names are higher

  • Cool, the only major differences I see, is the tiles on the card loading machine, have a diiferent shape with like a head shape on them , and the area the two contestants sit is different!
