I scored 12th grade on my STAR test but i mite flunk cuz of this stupid thing.
The really dumb thing is is when i was sick i read this really long deep book that was one of the only books i have ever liked and it had no test. UGH!

Accelerated Reader is a sack of crap. In our school district, it is 10% of your English grade. Reading for fun ... ha ha. It sucks all the fun out of reading. It is the epitome of what is wrong with schools. A COMPUTER PROGRAM determines part of your grade? Also, AR nitpicks on the most minor details ever. Example: If a nuclear war destroys everything in sight in a book, and only one person survives, does it really matter what color one of the pebbles were? [/rant]

AR is the stupidest shit I've ever had to be associated with! I mean, I might read on my own, but when they MAKE you read, it just makes you want to not read!! Down with AR!! It sucks and I can guaranty that every kid in that video, was either payed to say that, or they're the biggest losers ever, and I'm dead fucking serious! Screw AR, the maker should feel bad about making it, because so many kids such as myself hate it! I speak for about 1 million plus kids who feel the same way by the way.
